A new month, a change of time and a change of venue! Last month we stood in the dark at the John Thompson with the prospect of the winter arriving and so it seemed a good idea to meet in the daylight! We originally used the Bubble Inn in May, but found the car park next to the pub too small and too busy. Instead we used the car park for the Stenson Bubble cruise (as it does not get used in the winter months). We found that we had plenty of room.
After a glorious day on Saturday, Sunday started dull but dry until we headed into the pub for the carvery lunch when it started to drizzle. Unfortunately this put owners off standing with their cars for long and most people spent the afternoon in the pub! This did mean that I did not get to meet a lot of owners and therefore do not know who they were! John Newcomb(300zx) invited other Z owners to the meet so we got a lot of new faces driving 200/300's. Also we had two supras, an impreza and a calibra as well as the usual attendees. It was a nice mix of cars.
Since everyone seemed happy with the time and venue, it will be the same time and place next month.
