Unbelievably warm weather for the time of year greeted those who came to the March meeting. There was nice mix of cars again with quite a few new faces. Parking was a struggle at times as there were two parties that day on the 'bubble cruise' boat. I was told that they rarely do cruises on a Sunday and will follow this up.
Entertainment (not to everyone's liking) was provided by Daz (gold Carlton) showing off his flamer kit (and also some very loud backfires, which I am sure the partygoers loved!) and a burnout from an 500bhp AC Cobra replica. The cobra came with a nitrous bottle in the boot (on top of the 500bhp) and the shiniest engine I have seen in ages (sorry it left before I took any pictures).
Some interviews were conducted by young Sam for octane magazine (http://www.octane.biz ) which is coming soon.
Thanks to James for taking the 3d photos of my engine (see the January meeting pictures for how to make them work).
